This policy explains how Marvello Pty Ltd processes information when a Shopify merchant installs or uses Announce Me.

Information we process

• Shopify store identity, installation sessions and granted scopes.
• Announcement, design, market-targeting and shipping settings entered by the merchant.
• App-generated impression and click totals when analytics is enabled and Shopify permits analytics processing.
• A one-way pseudonymous visitor identifier used only to count unique announcement visitors.
• Operational logs needed for security, reliability and support.

Announce Me does not request Shopify customer, order, payment or checkout scopes. Merchants should not place personal or confidential information in public announcement text.

How information is used

We use information to provide the app, publish the merchant's selected storefront content, verify plans, measure opted-in announcement performance, prevent abuse, troubleshoot faults and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

Shopify provides commerce, authentication, billing and extension delivery. Google Cloud provides application hosting, databases, logging and backups. Currency-rate services may be queried by our server to calculate display equivalents; shopper identifiers are not sent with those requests.

Retention and deletion

Announcement analytics are retained for up to 13 months. Configuration and installation data are retained while the app is installed or as needed to provide the service. Uninstall and Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks trigger tenant-scoped deletion. Limited records may be retained when required by law or to resolve security incidents.

Your choices

Merchants can disable analytics in Settings, edit or delete announcements, uninstall the app, or contact us about access, correction or deletion. Shopify's consent signal is respected before storefront analytics are collected.

International processing and security

Information may be processed where our service providers operate. We use access controls, encryption in transit, tenant scoping, backups and restricted production credentials. No security method is completely risk-free.

We may update this policy and will publish the revised date on this page.
