Terms of service

These terms govern a merchant's use of Announce Me. By installing or using the app, the merchant agrees to these terms on behalf of its business.

The service

Announce Me helps merchants create and publish storefront announcement bars, including optional targeting, scheduling, shipping progress and analytics. The merchant remains responsible for its storefront content, offers, shipping promises and legal compliance.

Plans and billing

Free and paid features are described in the Shopify App Store and the app's Plans page. Paid subscriptions are billed and managed by Shopify. Plan changes take effect according to Shopify's displayed billing terms. Downgrading can restrict publication of paid features without deleting saved drafts.

Acceptable use

Merchants must not use the app for unlawful, misleading, infringing or harmful content, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, or use it to collect sensitive information from shoppers.

Availability and third-party services

Shopify themes, APIs, Markets, shipping configuration and third-party networks affect app operation. We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that a displayed shipping threshold determines checkout eligibility.

Intellectual property

Merchants retain rights in their content and grant us the limited permission needed to process and display it through the app. Announce Me and its software remain our property or that of our licensors.

Termination

Merchants may stop using the service by uninstalling it. We may suspend access for material misuse, security threats or legal requirements. Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and our liability is limited to fees paid for the app during the preceding three months. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms and will publish the revised date on this page.
